Finished off the first today, came out really nice I think, and the other is half way there. I even made a fairly neat job of the wiring! Just need some MXR knobs now to finish them off. The distortion sounds great, I find it works best to just crank the volume and distortion and use the guitars controls. I'll try and do a small 'demo' at some point to show off it's sugar-y tones.
oh, ps. on the paint..... I searched for ages to find a nice mustard yellow but couldn't find anything, they were all too bright or too orangey, what I ended up with was yellow 'filler primer' from halfords, almost the perfect colour a couple of coats of glossy lacquer and all is well in the world. :)
